Faith Farm Thrift Grows By 6,780 Square Feet

December 9, 2013 Press Releases 1 Comment

Fort Lauderdale, Florida – December 4, 2013 – The Fort Lauderdale campus of Faith Farm Ministries recently increased their Thrift Store’s “As Is” department with the addition of a new, beautiful arched awning. The new awning was the perfect remedy for creating the “highest and best use” of the available space.

The new awning also resolves several operational challenges. It provides additional sales floor area for the abundant donations of gently used furniture and household goods. The additional sales area will generate more revenue to help fund the long term, residential, addiction recovery program for over 130 men at the Fort Lauderdale campus. In addition, the bright sun and sometimes rainy weather has been an issue in the past with donations being exposed and damaged. Faith Farm values the generosity of those who donate items and with the new awning, there is ample room to protect the donations and avoid the loss. Finally, the awning will provide the familiar Florida, open-air ambiance for our patrons who frequently visit the Thrift Store. There is always something new and something special at Faith Farm’s Fort Lauderdale campus, located at 1980 NW 9th Avenue (Powerline Road) between Sunrise Blvd. and Oakland Park Blvd. Thrift Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 6 PM.
